These regulations are in force in all communities in Mahoning County except Youngstown.

Ohio Drainage Laws

There is no government agency in Ohio which has any authority to issue orders or otherwise resolve conflicts over drainage problems between neighbors. Soil and Water Conservation Districts and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service can assist landowners who voluntarily wish to correct drainage problems. These are some of their resources.
